Travel through an art installation filled with unforgettable memories, participants will then take part in creating a self-portrait mask that reflect both their outward appearance and inner world. Oleksandr Kyianytsia is a Ukrainian living in Canada with cerebral palsy — but his heart remains with Ukraine. This summer, he has undertaken a 200-kilometre walk from Calgary to Banff to raise funds in support of hospitals located in active war zones.
The event brings over 20 community partners and 30 multicultural performances aimed at fostering intercultural and intergenerational learning and sharing.
