Have you been to Banff? Or more realistic, how often you go to this small town in the National Park?
Chances are for those who live in Calgary and areas, even Vancouverites and many locals visit Banff on a regular basis. While we all have our own reasons, purposes, or…excuses, it is delightful to hear from others.
According to Travel+Leisure in February 2023: the endlessly attractive alpine town of Banff is a favoured ski destination and just one of the all-around prettiest places regardless of the season. Besides hitting (or hiking) the slopes, travellers can admire the Rocky Mountain peaks from Banff Avenue while shopping for souvenirs, spot wildlife in Banff National Park, and soak in the hot springs. And Fairmont Banff Springs — adoringly referred to as Canada’s “Castle in the Rockies” — gives visitors a storybook setting to stay overnight.

Proximity to Calgary
Calgary has been voted for many years by the Economist as one of the most livable cities in the world. “Cowtown” has world-class hospitality as a host, a vibrant young population to drive the economy forward and stay ahead of the curve are some of the key factors. But being just 60 minutes away driving from the Town of Banff, it is a natural gift!
