The word “Omatsuri” which translates to festival is an annual event celebrating Japanese culture with Calgarians from all walks of life – presented by the Calgary Japanese Community Association and supported by hundreds of volunteers and performers from all over Canada.
Whether it’s Japanese stand-up comedy, funny drag show or the Sake and Beer Garden and food stalls, 2023 Calgary Japanese Festival “Omatsuri” will have something for everyone.
